"Hearing is better than seeing, seeing is better than knowing, and knowing is better than doing." On August 9, 2025, Luoyang Hongyuan Bearing Technology Co., Ltd. organized a study tour titled "Exploring the Secrets of Science and Technology, Inheriting Chinese Civilization." This event allowed Hongyuan children to learn through practice, exploring the allure of technology while also inheriting the national spirit of Ban Chao's mission to the Western Regions.
The moment they stepped into the Science and Technology Museum, the children felt as if they were transported to a technological fantasy world filled with infinite possibilities. Every corner exuded a mysterious allure, beckoning them to explore.
How do robots work? Do all moving parts use bearings? Can wind generate electricity? Why is light colorful? With these questions in mind, the Hongyuan children explored the various exhibition halls with great enthusiasm. They manipulated various technological exhibits, exploring the mysteries of nature and science through their hands-on thinking, their faces filled with concentration and wonder.
At the Ban Chao Memorial Park, the Hongyuan children stepped into the historical "scene" and performed a traditional ritual to pay tribute to Ban Chao.
Concerned about the allusions of "throwing down the pen to join the army" and "no venture, no gain." While listening to Ban Chao's story, they gained insights into historical changes, the Silk Road civilization, and the I Ching culture, and felt the long way to go before a strong nation can be built.
Beyond their visit, the Hongyuan children also experienced traditional Chinese sports such as archery and pitching pots, learning about their history and techniques. At the archery range, they truly experienced the archery spirit of "shooting to cultivate virtue" and "shooting to calm the mind," learning to calm their h hearts and focus.
This study tour allowed the Hongyuan children to experience the veins of civilization through the long river of history and ignite the spark of exploration in the halls of science and technology. When Ban Chao's ambition to "take up arms" met the precision of bearings, and when the serenity of "shooting to cultivate virtue" blended with the agility of the dancing robots, the children not only gained knowledge and laughter, but also planted in their hearts the seeds of inheriting culture and bravely pursuing technological advancement. I believe that this understanding, accumulated through practice, will ultimately become a force on their journey of growth, deeply rooting the roots of Chinese civilization and allowing the dreams of technological innovation to flourish.
