This year's CCTV Spring Festival Gala featured a stunning martial arts performance titled "Wu BOT," a collaboration between Unitree Robotics' humanoid robots and students from Henan Tagou Martial Arts School. The robot swarm completed a series of highly difficult maneuvers, the core secret of which lies in the "ultra-thin joint bearings" from Luoyang. This core component, independently developed and manufactured by Luoyang Hongyuan Bearing Technology Co., Ltd., utilizes several world-record-breaking technologies, serving as a crucial support for the perfect fusion of cutting-edge technology and traditional kung fu.
In 2025, Hongyuan Bearings unveiled a new sign: Luoyang Key Laboratory of Embodied Intelligent Bearings. The rapid development of embodied intelligence has placed almost unrealistic demands on bearings: high precision, high rigidity, low friction, long lifespan, and the precise realization of thin-walled structures. Each of these technical challenges could become a key bottleneck restricting robots from simply being "usable" to being truly "user-friendly." The laboratory's goal is to overcome these critical details. Collaborating with universities, they use this platform to focus on tackling the challenges of mass-producing P4-grade precision bearings, contributing to the domestic substitution of artificial intelligence in the industry chain.
