Rolling bearings are high-precision mechanical components with very strict requirements for internal and surface quality. Therefore, bearings in stock must be properly stored to prevent damage, loss of precision, or degradation of quality during storage. The technical tasks of bearing warehouse management are as follows:
(1) Prevent bearings from being damaged during transportation;
(2) Prevent bearings from rusting during storage;
(3) Minimize precision loss during storage;
(4) Ensure the supply of bearings to prevent production from being affected by shortages;
(5) Adjust inventory appropriately to avoid excessive backlogs of bearings;
(6) Conduct surveys, statistics, and comparative analyses on the use of bearings, summarize experiences, and improve the supply, storage, use, and selection of bearings.
